2026 NSGIC Western States Caucus Roundtable | June 11, 1-3 pm ET

This year’s discussion will focus on the challenges and opportunities involved in building a national parcel database and what gives the effort significant value. With the Federal Geographic Data Committee’s (FGDC) National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Strategic Plan complete and the Implementation Plan nearing finalization, now is the perfect time to spotlight this foundational dataset—one that is deeply woven into America’s history and governing systems.

We’ll be joined by speakers from across the country who will share the diverse ways parcel data is created and maintained by local, state, and tribal governments, how the processes and data differ from region to region, and what challenges and opportunities exist across jurisdictions and sectors in the development of a national parcel database. We’ll explore how federal agencies increasingly rely on parcel information to support a broad range of initiatives, as well as discuss use cases dependent on accessible and accurate parcel information.

The Roundtable will include breakout sessions designed to spark dialogue and generate ideas for developing a more complete national picture of land ownership.

We hope you’ll be part of the conversation. We encourage you to forward the invitation to others in your network who you think may benefit from participating.

A long list of federal agencies, state leaders, and non-governmental organizations are among our list of invited guests. Please feel free to extend this invitation to others in your network if you cannot attend or that you think would benefit from attending this informative session.
