The NSGIC Board of Directors, Conference Committee, and staff are looking forward to heading to San Antonio for the 2024 NSGIC Annual Conference to be held September 22-27 at the Holiday Inn San Antonio-Riverwalk. The Annual Conference is the place to enhance geospatial excellence and collaboration for state, local, tribal, and federal GIS policymakers and coordinators, private sector partners and other leaders in the geospatial ecosystem. Providing critical and timely networking opportunities, the conference also offers the chance to connect, collaborate, and share with colleagues and partners.
For this conference, in order to redeem your complimentary registrations included with your business partnership level, you will need to use the code provided to you. These codes will be distributed shortly with instructions on how to apply and use them. Please note that they must be used to zero out the registration cost on the form. For the 2024 NSGIC Annual Conference we are soliciting abstracts for live plenary content, which will be selected on a competitive basis. Preference will be given to State presentations and those business partners and private sector submissions that feature involvement with the states and/or a panel presentation that includes state representatives.
The last day for abstract submissions was July 26. We are no longer taking submissions.
Any public sector NSGIC member in good standing may submit nominations for the Geospatial Excellence Awards per the categories below.

Any public sector NSGIC member in good standing may submit nominations for the Outstanding Service Award. Lifetime Service Award nominations may come from any board member or past board member.

Once registered for the conference, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the group block booking site. Group rates will be based on per diem ($143) plus tax. For NSGIC state representatives faced with funding challenges, NSGIC offers limited conference grants to fully or partially cover reasonable travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and/or conference registration fees.
