Better Together: Rhode Island’s Collaborative Approach to Statewide Imagery | Eagleview | August 19, 2026, 2-3 pm ET

Rhode Island has developed a collaborative, statewide imagery program that expands access to high quality geospatial data while maximizing the value of public investment. In this session, representatives from Eagleview, the Rhode Island Geographic Information System (RIGIS), Rhode Island Department of Transportation, Rhode Island E911, and other program partners will share how their unique cost sharing approach has enabled consistent statewide imagery collection and provided municipalities with access to imagery and web-based tools. Attendees will learn how this high-resolution imagery program has evolved, explore real world applications across multiple agencies, and discuss how similar collaborative strategies can inspire tailored approaches that reflect the unique needs, resources, and priorities of other states and local governments, rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
