GeoWomen Virtual Roundtable | AI in Action
Tuesday | November 18 | 2:00 – 3:30 pm ET
From automating my garage doors to modernizing mission-critical systems for millions of Hoosiers, I’ve seen firsthand how AI is transforming the way we work, live, and lead. In this session, I’ll share practical and personal stories about how I’ve used AI tools like ChatGPT and Azure AI to increase efficiency, solve problems, and spark innovation — both at home and in complex government environments.
Together, we’ll explore what AI really is (and isn’t), how it’s being used across sectors, and what it means for the future of data governance, digital services, and public trust. We’ll also unpack some of the risks, ethics, and real-life challenges that come with AI’s rapid adoption — especially for those of us in leadership roles guiding change.
Whether you’re just curious or already experimenting with AI, this session will offer insight, a little humor, and actionable ideas to take back to your own organization.
