The mission of the Member Resources Committee (MRC) is to develop important documents, programs and other resources to enhance member learning, such as best management practices, and also to monitor membership experience, facilitate member-to-member learning, and to support NSGIC leadership in providing the best membership experience for the organization.
Some responsibilities of the MRC include, but are not limited to:
- Managing state caucuses
- Supporting new members via documentation and the buddy system at conferences
- Improving member experience
- Managing the GIS 101 webinar series
