Accessibility Template

The Accessibility Work Group was created to examine the challenges of geospatial products and applications to be inclusively designed and comply with national standards for accessibility. It was charged with providing support to NSGIC members by collecting existing accessibility standards and resources and to provide helpful recommendations that support the creation of more accessible geospatial products. Common activities include: researching accessibility issues and tools, updating the website to provide easy access to tools, creating webinars.

The Accessibility Workgroup meets on an as needed basis, about 4 times a year. We welcome all levels of participation—whether you want to actively lead a project or simply listen in on our calls to stay informed. You must be a NSGIC member to participate in this committee.
