To ensure that data ingested in the 3DHP data model is nationally consistent and supports future applications, guidance and specifications for the development of elevation derived hydrography (EDH) data have been developed. Additional guidelines are developed to address issues or clarify requirements as the need arises to support EDH. USGS will provide an update on the requirements and expectations for EDH data developed for use in creating 3DHP data.
